Perancangan Iklan Layanan Masyarakat Kato Nan Ampek Minangkabau Dalam Bentuk Audio Visual

Abstract

Minangkabau language is the language of unity between one Nagari and another. Kato nan ampek is a speech that has been passed down from generation to generation naturally, Kato nan ampek is a polite speech that regulates Minangkabau people in getting along both in a Nagari and with other Nagari in Minangkabau, West Sumatra. The rapid development of the times has resulted in the existence of kato nan ampek fading due to the pronunciation of the Minang language which is not in accordance with the actual provisions and application, coupled with the trend of new languages due to the influence of foreign cultures which causes a lack of public awareness to preserve kato nan ampek, this is also due due to the lack of education regarding kato nan ampek, both from learning at school and outside of school, the qualitative method makes a research method in this design to obtain valid data. A short film that educates about kato nan ampek and the moral education in it is the basis for this design. It is hoped that with this short film, people will remember the importance of using kato nan ampek, especially for the younger generation so that the younger generation will get a good moral education again.
